I am writing to commend your Subaru Service Manager; Heidi, and your Parts Department Manager; Linda. I managed to tear up the front end of my '98 Subaru Legacy Outback this winter on a clump of frozen dirt. By the time I had it looked at I was no longer able to drive it safely. Both Linda and Heidi were enormously helpful in getting my car towed into your shop, obtaining the parts necessary for repair, and getting the work done quickly and at an excellent price. I felt very well treated in every step along the way.


I hope that you will share this letter with Linda and Heidi and I hope that you will add copies to their personnel files. I know that customers don't hesitate to write letters when they are dissatisfied, perhaps the world would be a kinder place if we made it a point to thank people for their good work more often. We feel she exceeded other salesmen when we were looking to purchase a new vehicle.


She was very knowledgeable about the vehicles safety features, motor, and accessories. The weather was cold to be outside in a parking lot to show us cars. She brought us in were it was warm and showed us the different features and went on two test drives with us and our two grandchildren. She had great patience. She also showed us your dealership and introduced us to key people in your dealership and told us about your Subaru in the showroom. We were really impressed with her. Nice car.


You should be proud of the ladies you have hired in key positions usually filled by males. You have a great dealership to be proud of.

I recently bought a new Subaru Legacy from your dealership, and am writing to tell you that this purchase was by far the best car-buying experience I have ever had, The staff at the Subaru division were knowledgeable, friendly and courteous, and they made every effort to answer all my questions and address my concerns with the highest degree of professionalism.


The people with whom l worked, and who earned my trust in short order, were Darryl Graves, Roy Cullicut and "Skip" LeClerc. Roy worked very patiently to close the deal, and Skip stayed quite late to handle the financing. They were both great and I appreciate the work each gentleman did.


I reserve special praise, however, for Darryl Graves who, with his kind demeanor and perceptive approach was the person who really "sold" me this car. Darryl was both energetic and patient...a rare combination; and he answered my thousands of questions with good grace and humor. He is an asset to your business.


Anyway… bottom line is I will ALWAYS do business with Charlie's in the future...and I’ll tell my friends as well. Thanks so much.

Dear Charlie,

I want to express my thanks and gratitude for the recent excellent customer service which I received from a member of your sales staff, Dave McMillan. Today my car locked me out I believe we will End the problem to be in the security system once I get the car to the dealership for service. I was at my home and had left the keys in the front console. I shut the door and when I returned to the car it was locked and the security light was blinking. I could not locate my spare key to unlock the car so I needed help.


I called the dealership and was connected with McMillan. He kindly listened to my story - I think I sounded a little frantic as I needed the vehicle to get to work. Dave explained that I have a free service to come unlock the vehicle. He gave me the toll free number to call, explained what information I would need, and offered to have a spare key overnight mailed to me in Belfast.


During the whole conversation, Dave made me feel like this problem was no problem. He was very helpful and seemed very willing to assist Nom more than ever I know why I have purchased my last four Subaru’s at Charlie’s and I have been a satisfied customer for over 12 years.
