My husband drove me to Charlie's so that I could see the pretty new colors that were on the 2017 jeeps. One salesman approached us and he answered a couple of our questions and he eventually left us. Well, purple just happens to be my favorite color. We were still checking out a purple 4-door jeep when a second salesman appeared. His name was Andy DuPont.

Andy answered a few more questions then he asked if we had ever driven one and of course we hadn't. Next thing we knew, we were taking it for a test drive. This is the third trip to Charlie's. The first time I got a used 2011 Chevy Colorado a yr later I traded it in for my 2016 Jeep Patriot with 7 miles on it. This passed Saturday we traded in our 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo for a 2017 Jeep Renegade with 37 miles on it. Caleb didn't push us in an direction, he want us to tell him what we wanted to look at and our price range. Last Wed I called, and spoke with a salesperson, Josh, making an appointment with him for 1700 (5 P.M.) Friday. My wife and I arrived and Josh and Mike spent 2.5 hours with us, we wanted something new, but were more than a little ambivalent regarding just what would please us. Poor Josh ran all over the lot bringing vehicle after vehicle for us to review. Then we saw our new baby; a Jeep Rubicon, 4 door, black. Out of the 3 dealerships we went to that sold the Kia we wanted, Charlie's proved to be the superior dealership in knowledge, help and offered the lowest price on the Kia we wanted. Our sales rep, Gary Goodman, who helped us throughout the process, acted like a normal person and family. We felt extremely comfortable with him and he was very honest with us as well. He did an excellent job and truly cared about what we wanted and did not pressure us at all. I was recently in there for a simple realingment and discovered that my tire rods needed to be repired. The service rep helped me get a rental covered under my exteneded serivce warrenty which was a surprise for me and I wasnt forced to completely change my day. The few things I had issues with were taken care of on time and done professional.

I can honestly say I will return to Charlie's Motor Mall for the duration of my car/truck purchases. You should relay the message to your staff that they are number 1 for a reason!

Good morning Mr. Shuman

I would like you to be aware of a situation that I experienced at your dealership. I bought a used 2009 Toyota Corolla S recently at one of your dealerships. I called to ask about this that I looked at on Sunday. I was fortunate enough to be connected to Andy DuPont and he made me feel so comfortable that I drove right there on Monday and bought the car. My sales experience with Andy was terrific.

After delivery, I realized that I had 1 key and it was the valet key and there were no remotes. I called Andy and he informed me of the details of how the car was traded and that all the keys and remotes were not turned in the previous owner. Contact with the previous owner was attempted but failed.

Andy was kind enough to tell me that keep remotes when he gets them and would make arrangements to have two of them programmed for my car. He made all the arrangements around my schedule and it was a done deal.

A few weeks went by and I realized that still had only 1 key. I found myself in Augusta (a35 mile drive from Damariscotta) on the Columbus Day Holiday and stopped to see my guy Andy. I told him that the parts department wanted $120 to cut me a key. He picked up his phone, made a quick call, advised me to go the service department and they would cut and program a key for me at no cost. An hour later I had a key that actually opened my trunk! Before I left, the service rep handed me and invoice for the work and told me that I could not have to pay for it because Andy had paid for it out of his own pocket.

Mr. Shuman, I was so humbled by this gesture from Andy I felt that you had to know about this. This man is a quality person, a talented salesman and is a generous man with integrity. He deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond for me. I did not buy and expensive new car? I purchases a used vehicle but he made me feel like was the most important client that he had. This is a testament to the quality of individual that Andy is and you are fortunate to have him in your employ.

On a side note, I am so pleased with my new (used) car, she is the fourth vehicle I have purchased from you and her name is Gracie. She and I are getting along very well. She has found her new with my son and I and we both love her.
